Hamel, Stephen, and Amrein return home from state wrestling with medals again this year. Alexander Hamel went 4-2 and finished with a fifth place medal at 113lbs. Dayton Stephen went 4-1 and brings home a third place medal at 157lbs. Aiden Amrein went 4-0 and repeats as the state champion at 175lbs. Amrein finishes as the first ever Hill City High School wrestler to place at state all 4 years with Freshman 3rd, sophomore 2nd, Junior 1st, and senior 1st. Slade Rohr went 1-2 and was two matches away from placing. Gracie Penrod went 2-2 and was just one match away from placing.
