Moms and Dads of USD 281. Beginning Monday September 14, 2020, USD 281 will be utilizing the waiver from USDA to offer FREE breakfast and lunch for ALL Students. Meals will be served and provided as normal; however, your child’s breakfast/lunch account will not be charged. Meals will be served on the days that USD 281 is in session. If school is cancelled due to inclement weather, no meals will be served that day. If your child currently has a positive lunch balance, the money will remain as a credit until the program ends. The program has been extended until the end of first semester, December 18, 2020 or until the Government money runs out. So, the program could end sooner. Please feel free to contact the school if you have any questions. Dale Deighton Superintendent Graham County USD 281

HCGS Parents, It was wonderful to see all of the students and have them back in the building today. The teachers and I are excited for another great year as well. Just a quick note for tomorrow... Parents, please talk with your student/s in the morning and discuss where you will meet when school lets out. Since we are using several exits, students may be confused on where they are to meet-up with parents at the end of the day. Thanks, Mr. Granberry

Please be advised, HCJSHS doors will open at 7:45 am. There was a glitch between the USD 281 website live feed and our district Facebook page.

I hope this message finds everyone doing well. I want to welcome and wish you a safe and enjoyable school year. Please understand there will be some differences as this year kicks off. The teachers and staff have been working hard to be ready for you on Monday. I want to let you know that the building will not open until 7:45 am daily and everyone will need to enter though the main entrance by the office or from the north parking lot door across the hall from the office. Temperatures will be taken as you enter the building. Have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing everyone on Monday.
